1. The campaign:
a. “Get January’s premium on us” is a campaign intended to encourage pre-selected clients to update their policy details, payment method and/or beneficiary information, as the case may be, and in the process be eligible to have a premium-free month as selected by MiWayLife.
b. The campaign to update policy details and get “January on us” runs from 1 June 2023 to 31 December 2023.
2. Eligibility criteria
a. Policyholders must have an active MiWayLife life cover policy as at 1 June 2023.
b. MiWayLife will in its own discretion select policies that are eligible for the campaign based on a client profile. The criteria for selection are determined and set by MiWayLife and only policyholders called to participate and who meet the qualifying criteria will be awarded a premium-free month in January 2024.
Disclaimer: MiWayLife is entitled to, for good reason and at its discretion and without notice, change or modify these terms and conditions to the campaigns and promotions without giving such reason to discontinue, modify or adapt how the campaigns operate. Eligible policyholders will be informed of any changes or adaptations to the campaign either directly or via the website and/or other media platforms. MiWayLife also reserves the right to amend or alter these terms, the conditions of the campaign, the requirements, eligibility and qualification criteria at any time and decline eligible policyholders who act outside of the fair spirit to partake in the campaign. All current life cover policy terms and conditions shall remain in place and enforceable.
3. Qualifying criteria:
a. Premiums must be up to date from 1 June 2023 to 31 December 2023
b. Policyholders will be required to update their profile information on record with MiWayLife and/or add or update beneficiary details with ID numbers and contact numbers either online or via the call centre.
c. Any missed premiums will need to be caught up within the grace period afforded in terms of the policy terms.
d. Consecutive missed premiums will be treated according to the policy terms and where the policy is not brought back to good standing, this will result in disqualification and in some cases the lapsing of cover and benefits.
